Genetic Interactions
Statement Reference Dominantly suppresses the enhancing effect of mod(mdg4)^ul on the y² phenotype. Variably suppresses the enhancing effect of mod(mdg4)^ul on the y^-800, y^-700, y⁺⁶⁶⁰ and y^+2490R phenotypes. Suppresses the sc^D1 and ct⁶ mutations when combined with mod(mdg4)^ul. The pigmentation of y² e(y)1¹ or y² e(y)2¹ flies is not altered by Su(mg)1-7^1-7. The wing phenotype of ct^pN2s or ct^pN30 flies is not altered by Su(mg)1-7^1-7. Su(mg)1-6^1-6 Su(mg)1-7^1-7 and Su(mg)1-7^1-7 Su(mg)1-8^1-8 double heterozygotes have no visible phenotype. (Bezborodova et al., 1997)
