hide Detailed Description
Statement
Reference
Animals expressing cas[Scer\UAS.cKa] under the control of Scer\GAL4[elav-C155] have an increase in the number of SELK neurons compared to control animals.
Embryos expressing casScer\UAS.cKa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E lack U4 and U5 neurons, although U1-U3 neuron fates are normal. Embryos expressing casScer\UAS.cKa under the control of Scer\GAL4pros.PMG lack U4 and U5 neurons.

Statement
Reference
The neuroblast apoptosis seen in the thorax and abdomen of 96 hour larvae expressing abd-A[1dB5.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4[elav-C155] is suppressed by co-expression of cas[Scer\UAS.cKa].
Co-expression of casScer\UAS.cKa and pdm2Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in embryos which have normal U1/U2 neurons, but show a loss of the U3/U4 neurons and extra U5 neurons.
hide Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference
Co-expression of BacA\p35Scer\UAS.cHa and casScer\UAS.cKa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E results in loss of U4/U5 neurons (as is seen in embryos expressing casScer\UAS.cKa alone under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E).
