        Mutant neuroblasts show delays in prometaphase and metaphase as well as an increased overall cell cycle length. The mitotic index is also increased.

        There is a large increase in the number of S-phase cells in mutant larval brains compared to wild-type brains.

        Embryos derived from aurunspecified mutant females appear abnormal from nuclear cycle 9 onwards, with multiple spindles assembling in long arrays with shared centrosomes, and polyploid nuclei developing with multiple centrosomes.
