The reactivation defects in central brain neuroblasts (high proportion of the cells retain the cellular extensions, one of the hallmarks of the quiescent state) observed in third instar larvae expressing ChroKK105370 under the control of Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407 cannot be rescued by co-expression of CycBScer\UAS.cWa.
Co-expression of CycBScer\UAS.cWa and belGD1324 driven by Scer\GAL4nos.PG leads to two distinct phenotypes in testes: most (around 75%) are reduced in size and do not contain germ cells, while the remainder have normal testis architecture and germ cell content; male infertility is significantly partially suppressed by co-expression of CycBScer\UAS.cWa in Scer\GAL4nos.PG>belGD1324 males.
