crb^j1B5/Df(3R)P3-4-7 transheterozygotes are lethal.

(Tomaru et al., 2018)

Stage 17 crb^j1B5 mutant embryos show defects in the transition from luminal liquid-clearance to air-filled airways. Tube size defects and defective airway protein clearance are also seen. No air-filling defects are observed in crb^j1B5 heterozygotes.
