When numbfl.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC is driven by Scer\GAL4eve.eme a loss of eve expressing pericardial cells is seen. Instead two pairs of DA1 and DO2 muscle founders are seen.
spi1 embryos in which numbfl.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B and Scer\GAL4twi.PG lack the eve-expressing pericardial cells and DA1 muscles.
Embryos expressing numbfl.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of both Scer\GAL4how-24B and Scer\GAL4twi.PG form DA1 muscles but the number of eve-expressing pericardial cells is drastically reduced.
76-100% of macrochaetae are missing in most lines of flies expressing numbfl.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4189. Overexpression of numbfl.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC using Scer\GAL4C96 results in twinning of bristles on the wing margin.
