Description

Insertion of a hobo into the wing blade enhancer of y, and a tandem gypsy element between the body cuticle enhancer and the y promoter.

Recombination between 5'LTR of gypsy-2 and 3'LTR of gypsy-1 results in deletion of the hobo-2 and y promoter sequences between them.
