| Nature of the lesion | Statement Reference Construct: Tn10\tetRRHT.T:Hsim\VP16 coding sequence expression is driven by a 3.5kb KpnI fragment ey enhancer. ey intronic regulator sequences drive expression of Tn10\tetR repressor DNA binding domain (amino acids 1-207) fused to T:Hsim\VP16 transcriptional activation domain (amino acids 363-490). | ||

Detailed Description
| |||
Statement Reference Tn10\tetRey.3.5.T:Hsim\VP16-mediated expression of Hsap\HMGIYMATH20.Tn10\tetO in In(1)wm4 flies results in significant derepression of the w gene and a general loss of the variegating phenotype. Tetracycline treatment inhibits Hsap\HMGIYMATH20.Tn10\tetO-induced suppression of PEV. | |||
