The viability of SxlfP7B0/+ females is significantly reduced if they also carry one maternally-derived copy of msl-1L60. One maternally-derived copy of msl-1L60 significantly reduces the viability of scsisB-1 sisA1/+ females so that they show almost complete lethality. One paternally-derived copy of msl-1L60 significantly reduces the viability of scsisB-1 sisA1/+ females.
The ability of P{GMroX1}75C (which carries roX1t4.9) to partially rescue the lethality of roX1ex6/Df(1)52 males is suppressed if the males are also heterozygous for msl-1L60.
