Expression of baboQ302D.Scer\UAS in Dm8 neurons under the control of Hsim\VP16AD.VGlut.OK371.T:Zzzz\ZipEERRL,T:SV40\nls2 and Scer\GAL4DBD.ort.C2.T:Zzzz\ZipRREEL significantly reduced the dendritic field sizes as compared to wild type. As in wild type, Dm8 neurons expressing baboQ302D.Scer\UAS are routed to the M6 layer.
Scer\GAL4Mhc.PW-mediated expression of baboQ302D.Scer\UAS reduces the number of autophagic vacuoles within adult muscle.
baboQ302D.Scer\UAS expression in the imaginal wing disc using Scer\GAL4vg.MQ.Exel leads to visible adult wing defects.
Expression of baboQ302D.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 produces a significant vein-patterning defect.

Co-expression of SnooM67 rescues the wing phenotypes caused by Scer\GAL4salm-459.2- or Scer\GAL4nub-AC-62-mediated expression of baboQ302D.Scer\UAS.
Co-expression of baboQ302D.Scer\UAS and MadScer\UAS.cNa, both under the control of Scer\GAL4A9, increases the transformation of intervein into vein tissue. Although the wing discs are larger, the adult wings are smaller due to cell death and transformation of intervein into more tightly associated vein cells. Co-expression of baboQ302D.Scer\UAS and four copies of SmoxScer\UAS.cGa (under the control of Scer\GAL4A9) results in a small increase in ectopic wing vein formation. No additional wing growth is observed. Expression of baboQ302D.Scer\UAS in a dawaact1 background under the control of the neurosecretory driver Scer\GAL4386Y fails to suppress dawaact1 lethality.
Co-expression of SnooEP2510 strongly suppresses both the overgrowth and patterning defects seen in the eyes of flies expressing baboQ302D.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF. Co-expression of SnooEP2510 significantly suppresses the ectopic wing vein and overgrowth phenotypes that are seen in the posterior compartment of the wing in flies expressing baboQ302D.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E.
The addition of baboQ302D.Scer\UAS (driven by Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1) suppresses the head phenotype seen in ptc559.1, Df(2R)Np3. None of these animals exhibit head capsule defects.
