Detailed Description
	Statement Reference In embryos expressing ovo^D1.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4^en-e16E, both cell rows of the posterior compartment make naked cuticle. Expression of ovo^D1.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1 prevents formation of denticle belts 2 and 3, replacing them with naked cuticle. Expression of ovo^D1.Scer\UAS by Scer\GAL4^wg.PM results in embryos with a wild-type cuticle. (Payre et al., 1999)
