Detailed Description
	Statement Reference 81% of flies expressing Spn77Ba[dsRNA.WIZ.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4[btl.PS] are viable at 18[o]C, whereas all animals die before the adult stage if the animals also carry Spn77Ba[W7]/+. (Tang et al., 2008) Hemizygotes show early lethality. (Lukinova et al., 1999)

Rescued by	Spn77Ba^W7 is rescued by Spn77Ba^{Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Ivir\HA1}/Scer\GAL4^Act.PU (Tang et al., 2008)
Comments	Expression of Spn77Ba[Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Ivir\HA1] under the control of Scer\GAL4[hs.PB] at 18[o]C allows some Spn77Ba[W7] animals to grow to the second instar stage. These animals have melanised trachea and in most cases die before reaching the third instar stage. Expression of Spn77Ba[Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Ivir\HA1] under the control of Scer\GAL4[hs.PB] at 22-25[o]C allows some Spn77Ba[W7] animals to survive to the third larval instar or pupal stages. These larvae and pupae have melanised trachea. (Tang et al., 2008)
