Coexpression of Mnn1Scer\UAS.cCa and JraAsp.B.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in 1-5% of flies escaping the JraAsp.B.Scer\UAS lethality to eclose. Viable flies have a severe cleft thorax. Likewise, the prepupal lethality of Scer\GAL4ey.PH>JraAsp.B.Scer\UAS flies is partially suppressed when Mnn1Scer\UAS.cCa is coexpressed.

Expression of JraAsp.B.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH results in a strong enhancement of the L2/+ eye phenotype to a very small eye or no eye in 36% of flies.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Co-expression of JraAsp.B.Scer\UAS enhances the increase in cell death seen in the third larval instar eye disc of animals expressing Hsap\APPAβ42.Scer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU and results in adults having a severe reduced eye phenotype.
