Expression of emc^EP415 under the control of Scer\GAL4^c306 results in egg chambers containing multiple germline cysts with high penetrance.

Expression of emc^EP415 under the control of Scer\GAL4^sca-537.4 results in a loss of scutellar and dorsocentral macro- and microchaetae. Sensory organs with no socket, one shaft and one sheath cell and occasionally a shaft with a branching tip are seen.
