Expression using Scer\GAL4ey.PU does not induce a rough eye phenotype.

Homozygotes die before the third larval instar stage.

Expression of SNF4AγEP3015b under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-537.4 results in additional scutellar macrochaetae. Sensory organs with no socket, one shaft and one sheath cell, no socket, no shaft and one sheath cell and one socket and no shaft are seen. Short and thickened shaft morphology is seen.

The rough eye phenotype seen upon expression of InvadolysinScer\UAS.N.T:Ivir\HA1 at 29[o]C under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, is enhanced by a heterozygous SNF4AγEP3015b background.

Expression from the P{EP} elements in the "EP(3)3015" line (which contains P{EP}EP3015aEP3015a and P{EP}SNF4AγEP3015b) under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 (the animals are initially raised at 18oC and then shifted to 29oC after 10 days) results in a reduced number of early germ cells (stem cells, gonialblasts and spermatogonia) in the testis.
