The wings of Scer\GAL4^ap-md544, Lpin^EP2431 flies have a normal vein phenotype.

Expression of EP2431^EP2431 under the control of Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1 (the animals are initially raised at 18^oC and then shifted to 29^oC after 10 days) results in a reduced number of early germ cells (stem cells, gonialblasts and spermatogonia) in the testis.

Mutant larvae expressing EP2431^EP2431 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav-C155 have reduced or abnormal synapses. Mutant larvae expressing EP2431^EP2431 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav-C155 have ISN neuron pathfinding defects.
