Co-expression of groScer\UAS.cAa does not enhance the penetrance of the embryonic lethality phenotype caused by expression of midScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL469B. However, the fraction of dead embryos which show denticle belt fusions is increased by 33% to 58%.
Co-expression of either dgrnHCAA.Scer\UAS.P\T or dgrnΔSIMs.Scer\UAS.P\T does not suppress the small, deformed eye phenotype caused by expression of groScer\UAS.cAa under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PU.
Coexpression of HLHmβScer\UAS.cdCa and groScer\UAS.cAa, under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096, leads to a greater loss of wing veins than expression of HLHmβScer\UAS.cdCa alone. Coexpression of groScer\UAS.cAa with rlSem.Scer\UAS, under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096, is unable to suppress the thick wing vein phenotype seen when only rlSem.Scer\UAS is expressed. Coexpression of btl::EgfrScer\UAS.T:λ\cI-DD with groScer\UAS.cAa, under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-C253, suppresses the bristle-loss phenotype on the notum seen when groScer\UAS.cAa alone is expressed (driven by Scer\GAL4sca-C253).
