Simultaneous expression of Nop60BSym.Scer\UAS and Nop60Ba.Sym.Scer\UAS (both carried in P{Sym-UAS-Nop60B}) under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI results in developmental delay and reduced female fertility. 90% of the flies have hatched abdominal cuticle and a reduction in the number, length and thickness of bristles. Simultaneous expression of Nop60BSym.Scer\UAS and Nop60Ba.Sym.Scer\UAS (both carried in P{Sym-UAS-Nop60B}) under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in a reduction in the number, length and thickness of bristles only along the dorsal midline (the domain of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 expression).

Expression of Nop60B[dsRNA.Sym.ScerUAS] under the control of ScerGAL4[Act5C.PI] results in developmental delay and reduced female fertility. 90% of the flies have hatched abdominal cuticle and a reduction in the number, length and thickness of bristles.
