Description
What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

hide Detailed Description
Statement
Reference
24% of homozygous egg chambers contain only eight germline cells at room temperature. 96% of egg chambers have polytene nuclei and the karyosome appears abnormally shaped, diffuse or fragmented in 15.3% of egg chambers. Homozygous females lay few eggs, which are shorter than normal and have dorsal-ventral polarity defects (ranging from dorsalised with a ring of dorsal appendage material through to partially ventralised with a single dorsal appendage).
