Statement Reference Expression of neur[Scer\UAS.cPa] and Dl[Scer\UAS.cLa] under the control of Scer\GAL4[twi.PG] has no effect on eve-positive pericardial cell numbers.
Expression of neur[Scer\UAS.cPa] and Dl[Scer\UAS.cLa] under the control of Scer\GAL4[twi.PG] in a spdo[G104] mutant background does not alter the number of eve-positive pericardial cells compared to spdo[G104] mutant embryos.
Co-expression of neur[Scer\UAS.cPa] and Dl[Scer\UAS.cLa] under the control of Scer\GAL4[twi.PG] in a spdo[G104] mutant background partially restore svp-positive pericardial cell development by promoting more asymmetric divisions of progenitor cells.
