Description
What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

Expression of CamB12Q.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B in Cam7/+ animals (which are normally phenotypically wild type) has no effect on pupal case structure or survival. Expression of both CamB12Q.Scer\UAS and CamB34Q.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B in Cam7/Camn339 animals results in 100% larval lethality.

Comments
(with CamB34Q.Scer\UAS) Fails to rescue: Camn339 { Scer\GAL4elav.PLu } The spontaneous backward movement seen in homozygous Camn339 larvae is not rescued by expression of CamB12Q.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu. The spontaneous backward movement seen in homozygous Camn339 larvae is not rescued by co-expression of CamB12Q.Scer\UAS and CamB34Q.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu.
Expression of CamB12Q.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B rescues the overcontraction of the larval body seen during pupariation in Cam7/Camn339 animals and produces smooth pupal cases, but the pupal cases are longer and narrower than normal and the anterior larval segments do not retract fully during pupariation. Most of the pupae fail to develop recognisable adult structures and only 9.4% of the pupae eclose.
