      Expression of spinEP2363 under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 (the animals are initially raised at 18oC and then shifted to 29oC after 10 days) results in a reduced number of early germ cells (stem cells, gonialblasts and spermatogonia) in the testis.

      spinEP2363/Df(2R)Jp4 hemizygotes show a significant increase in bouton number at the larval neuromuscular junction (assayed at muscles 6/7 in hemisegment A3) compared to wild type.
