      CbydsRNA.Scer\UAS.WIZ; Scer\GAL4nos.PG embryos form cuticles characterized by the transformation of ventral denticles into naked cuticle. In addition, these embryos are smaller than wild-type and are missing head structures.

      When CbydsRNA.Scer\UAS.WIZ is driven by Scer\GAL4arm.PS in a armF1α germ-line clone background, the ectopic denticle phenotype is suppressed. armF1α, armΔ.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1, CbydsRNA.Scer\UAS.WIZ (driven by Scer\GAL4arm.PS) germ-line clones exhibit a naked cuticle phenotype. When CbydsRNA.Scer\UAS.WIZ is driven by Scer\GAL4arm.PS in a armΔ.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 germ-line clone background, the ectopic denticle phenotype is enhanced.

      Expression of CbydsRNA.Scer\UAS.WIZ under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS has no effect on the cuticle phenotype of embryos derived from armF1α germ-line clones.
