Expression of SCARScer\UAS.P\T.cZa under the control of Scer\GAL4OK107 does not result in axon growth defects in the mushroom body.
Overexpression of SCARScer\UAS.P\T.cZa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 does not result in any defects in the overall morphology of the embryonic nervous system.

SCARScer\UAS.P\T.cZa, Scer\GAL4elav-C155 is a non-suppressor of neuromuscular junction & synapse phenotype of Fmr1EP3517, Scer\GAL4elav-C155

hide Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference
Pan-neuronal expression of SCAR[Scer\UAS.P\T.cZa] under the control of Scer\GAL4[elav-C155] weakly suppresses the Abi[Δ20]-dependent deficits in axonal targeting.
Expression of SCAR[Scer\UAS.P\T.cZa] under the control of Scer\GAL4[sca.PU] suppresses the RP2 neuron migration defects seen in Hem[J4-48] mutant embryos.
The reduced synaptic length seen at the neuromuscular junction in larvae expressing Fmr1EP3517 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 is not suppressed by co-expression of SCARScer\UAS.P\T.cZa.

Comments
Expression of SCAR[Scer\UAS.P\T.cZa] in neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4[elav-C155] completely restores the axonal projections in SCAR[unspecified] mutant brains. Expression of SCAR[Scer\UAS.P\T.cZa] in glia cell under the control of Scer\GAL4[repo] fails to restores the axonal projections in SCAR[unspecified] mutant brains. Eye disc specific expression of SCAR[Scer\UAS.P\T.cZa] under the control of Scer\GAL4[GMR.PU] fails to rescue the axonal targeting defects in the visual system of SCAR[unspecified] mutants.
The reduced synaptic length seen at the neuromuscular junction of SCARΔ37/+ larvae is rescued by expression of SCARScer\UAS.P\T.cZa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155.
