hide Detailed Description
Statement
Reference
Expression of Mmp1[f1.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4[dpp.PH] results in short stubby, easily broken bristles on the thorax of adult flies.
Expression of Mmp1f1.Scer\UAS in border cells, driven by Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6 does not affect the formation of the egg chamber apical cap or the migration of the border cell cluster to the oocyte.
Mmp1f1.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4GMR.PF flies have normal eyes. The thoracic macrochaetae of Mmp1f1.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4dpp.PH flies tend to break of shortly after eclosion.

Mmp1f1.Scer\UAS, Scer\GAL4dpp.PH has macrochaeta & thorax phenotype, suppressible by TimpScer\UAS.cPa, Scer\GAL4dpp.PH
hide Additional Comments
hide Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference
The thoracic macrochaeta phenotype due to Mmp1f1.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4dpp.PH is suppressed by the presence of one copy of TimpScer\UAS.cPa.

Comments
Expression of Mmp1[Pro-pex.f1.Scer\UAS] suppresses the bristle phenotype observed in flies expressing Mmp1[f1.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4[dpp.PH].
