Statement Reference Expression of hpo[K71R.Scer\UAS] under the control of Scer\GAL4[Bx-MS1096] results in a significant increase in wing size compared to controls. When the kinase-dead hpo[K71R.Scer\UAS] transgene is expressed in eyes, under the control of Scer\GAL4[GMR.long], most R8 cells have a p fate, with only a few R8 cells adopting a y fate. hpoK71R.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 animals have enlarged wings (35% larger than wild-type). | |||
