Notes on Origin
Discoverer

Selected as: a mutation that alters the eye colour of bwPrat.PC/bwD flies. Associated with: at least 15 lethal effects distributed over both arms of the chromosome, four of which map in the region that Mod(Prat:bw)2-3 maps to. It is therefore possible that the dominant effect on generation time and recessive lethality of the chromosome are independent of the modifier of bwPrat.PC (although the dominant effect on generation time and recessive lethality do co-map with the modifier of bwPrat.PC effect).
