Detailed Description
	Statement Reference In Doa[Dem]/Doa[198-14] mutants where the Doa[Dem] allele is from the mother there are no survivors. When the Doa[198-14] allele comes from the mother the flies are viable, but the postalar bristles are duplicated and the scutellar bristles are forked-like. (Kpebe and Rabinow, 2008) Homozygous clones can be recovered in the eye. Females containing homozygous germ-line clones show defects in early oogenesis. (Morris et al., 2003)
