Genetic Interactions

Statement Reference The wing notching phenotype seen in ct53d adults is enhanced in a dose dependent manner by CG6194P0997. CG6194P0997/CG6194P0997 enhances the loss of wing margin seen in Nnd-3/Y flies. CG6194P0997/CG6194P0997 suppresses the loss of wing vein seen in NAx-1/Y flies. CG6194P0997/CG6194P0997 enhances wing vein thickenings and wing margin loss in dx1/Y flies. The shortening of wing vein L5 seen in HE31/+ flies is suppressed by CG6194P0997/+. SerBd-1 CG6194P0997 double heterozygotes show notching of the wing. The wing vein thickenings of L2 and terminal deltas seen in DlX/+ flies is enhanced by CG6194P0997/+. vg1/+ CG6194P0997/CG6194P0997 flies show loss of wing margin tissue. The notching of the wing and wing vein thickening seen in sno71e3/Y males is enhanced by CG6194P0997/CG6194P0997. The sno71e3/Y rough eye phenotype is also enhanced.

Selected as: a modifier of the ct53d wing phenotype.
Comments
| |||
CG6194 mRNA is absent in CG6194P0997 homozygous embryos (but present in wild-type embryos). Excision of the P{lacW} element can revert the CG6194P0997 phenotype of enhancing ct53d.
