hide Detailed Description
Statement
Reference
In neuromuscular junctions of Rat\CaMKIINαI.Scer\UAS.cHa; Scer\GAL4Mhc.PW larvae, quantal content is significantly greater than wild-type. When 2 copies of Rat\CaMKIINαI.Scer\UAS.cHa are present quantal content is increased further and there is a significant increase in excitatory postsynaptic potential (EPSP) amplitude and in mini-EPSP frequency. Mini-EPSP amplitude and kinetics are unaffected as is membrane potential and input resistance of the muscles. (Data from electrophysiological recordings made from muscle 6 in segment A3 of wandering 3rd instar larvae).

Reference
witHA4/witHA5 suppresses the increase in the excitatory postsynaptic potential amplitude seen in the neuromuscular junctions of Rat\CaMKIINαI.Scer\UAS.cHa; Scer\GAL4C142 larvae. (Data from electrophysiological recordings made from muscle 6 in segment A3 of wandering 3rd instar larvae).
