    Detailed Description
    Statement
    Reference

F-actin bundles in the developing bristles of mutant adults are significantly larger than normal, and are intersecting.

Mutant larvae have well-coordinated and regular peristaltic movements when crawling on fruit agar plates, but the vigour of the peristalsis is strongly reduced compared to wild type. Contraction waves advance more slowly compared to actively migrating wild-type larvae.

Embryos mutant for loss or gain of function mutations show axon guidance defects in ISNb, SNa and the CNS. For loss of function mutants the majority of defects are manifest as a decrease in repulsion. For gain of function mutants the majority of defects are manifest as an increase in repulsion.

The branched bristle phenotype caused by expression of two copies of plexAScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4B11-98 is suppressed if the flies are also homozygous for Micalunspecified.
