TspoEY00814 flies are viable, grossly normal and have comparable developmental timing to wild type.

TspoEY00814 wing discs show a drastic suppression of cell death after gamma radiation, compared to controls. Similarly, cells isolated from TspoEY00814 3rd instar larval brains show significant suppression of apoptosis after exposure to H[[2]]O[[2]].

Male, but not female, TspoEY00814 flies show an extended lifespan over controls.

Male, but not female, TspoEY00814 flies show an extended lifespan over controls.

Male, but not female, TspoEY00814 flies show increased resistance to H[[2]]O[[2]] compared to controls. Sensitivity to starvation or heat stress in male and female TspoEY00814 flies is similar to controls.
