Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

One copy of stgEY12388 partially suppresses the segment gap phenotype seen in the abdomens of mir-965KO1/mir-965KO2 mutant flies. The asynchronous histoblast division and reduction in histoblast migration rate are also suppressed.

stgEY12388/+ suppresses the rough-eye phenotype and increases the number of normal photoreceptors per ommatidium in flies expressing tefudsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU. Significantly reduced severity of progressive neurodegeneration is also observed in these animals.

Expression of tefudsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU results in increased levels of photoreceptor cell division in third instar larval eye discs, which is suppressed by stgEY12388/+.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

stgEY12388 appears to extend the lifespan of a subset of Scer\GAL4D42>Hsap\TARDBPScer\UAS.cHa flies. Further analysis reveals that the lifespan extension is restricted to female flies.
