    Expression of RhebEP50.084 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP increases cell size.

    Overexpression of RhebEP50.084 results in an increase in TR-avidin endocytic internalisation.

    RhebEP50.084; Scer\GAL4GMR.PF animals exhibit eye overgrowth. Ommatidia in Scer\GAL4GMR.PF/+; RhebEP50.084/+ flies are disorganized, and are on average 1.43 times the size of wild-type ommatidia.

This suppression is stronger when one the flies are also heterozygous for S6kl-1 (ommatidia 1.16 times wild-type size, and not disorganised).
