Mutants show no significant difference in RP2 dendrite volume compared to controls.
Third instar larvae expressing kayEY12710 under the control of Scer\GAL4Pxn.PS have an increased number of sessile hemocytes. The number of hemocytes in circulation is also increased. The dorsal sessile hemocyte department is not disrupted. Sessile hemocytes do not accumulate along the dorsal vessel or spread through the cuticle. The lymph gland is enlarged. Hemocyte shape is normal.
Expression of kayEY12710 under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev results in 40% of ommatidia with a symmetric R3/R4 arrangement, and 3% of ommatidia with inverted chirality. Overexpression of kayEY12710 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act in the R3 cell has no effect on ommatidial polarity. Overexpression of kayEY12710 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act in the R4 cell results in loss of R4 fate in 53.8% of cases.
