Expression of Pp1-87B[Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1] under the control of Scer\GAL4[Act.PU] does not suppress the eye defects seen in mosaic flies with eyes that are homozygous for sds22[e00975]. Expression of flw[Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1] under the control of Scer\GAL4[Act.PU] significantly suppresses the eye defects seen in mosaic flies with eyes that are homozygous for sds22[e00975].

The cuticle phenotype of dead embryos derived from baz[4]/+ embryos derived from a cross of baz[4]/+ females to wild-type males is enhanced if the females also carry one copy of sds22[e00975]. The cuticle phenotype of dead embryos derived from baz[G0484]/+ embryos derived from a cross of baz[G0484]/+ females to wild-type males is enhanced if the females also carry one copy of sds22[e00975].
