Third instar larvae expressing bbxEY09604 under the control of Scer\GAL4Pxn.PS have a decreased number of sessile hemocytes. The number of hemocytes in circulation is also decreased. The dorsal sessile hemocyte department is disrupted. Sessile hemocytes do not accumulate along the dorsal vessel or spread through the cuticle. The lymph gland is not enlarged. Hemocyte shape is normal.
