Adults expressing wtsUAS.L.Tag:MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4nub-AC-62 display significantly smaller wings, as compared to controls.
Ectopic expression of wtsScer\UAS.L.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU results in severely undergrown wings in adult flies.
The wings of flies expressing wtsScer\UAS.L.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E appear under-proliferated, having smaller posterior compartments compared to controls.
When wtsScer\UAS.L.T:Hsap\MYC is driven by Scer\GAL4ey.PH both the larval eye disc and the adult eye are smaller than normal. About 20% of animals die in the late pupa stage.

Expression of wtsScer\UAS.L.T:Hsap\MYC partially suppresses the lethality seen when TaoGD8262 is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E. Expression of TaoGD8262 partially suppresses the wing under-proliferation seen when wtsScer\UAS.L.T:Hsap\MYC is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E.
When both wtsScer\UAS.L.T:Hsap\MYC and matsScer\UAS.cLa are driven in the eye (by Scer\GAL4GMR.PF) eyes are even smaller than when Scer\GAL4ey.PH is expressed alone and have a cone shape. About 70% of animals exhibit a late pupal lethal; phenotype.
