Detailed Description
	Statement Reference Expression of tgo^Δc.Scer\UAS under the regulation of Scer\GAL4^sim.P3.7 in the central nervous system midline is associated with alterations in commissural and longitudinal axon formation. Longitudinal connectives are thinner than in wild-type embryos and the commissural axons are either not properly separated or do not form at all. Expression of tgo^Δc.Scer\UAS under the regulation of Scer\GAL4^btl.PS results in a reduction in the number of btl-expressing embryonic midline glia compared to wild-type. In the trachea, there are reductions in the number of cells expressing btl in the dorsal trunk, ganglionic branches and dorsal branches compared with wild-type embryos. (Sonnenfeld et al., 2005)
