Roc1bdc3 mutant clones in sensory neurons in adult wing do not display any defects in injury-induced axon degeneration (following an axotomy, the severed axons are cleared away normally).

Homozygous spermatids show severe defects in individualisation.

Sperm cells in the testes of Roc1bdc3 males are completely immotile, but have completed the individualization process correctly.
