Large anterior clones in the third instar wing disc that are expressing cosS182N.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP often result in dramatic outgrowth of anterior tissue in the disc. Posterior clones in the wing disc that are expressing cosS182N.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP do not produce disc outgrowth. Expression of cosS182N.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in anterior wing duplications, with 100% penetrance and variable expressivity. This wing duplication phenotype is completely suppressed by co-expression of cosScer\UAS.cHa.
