AvicGFPGr66a.3x.IRES.2x is expressed in four gustatory receptor neurons of the terminal organ, which co-express ScerGAL4sano, a marker for salt-responsive neurons. Expression is also driven in two terminal organ neurons of the dorsal organ ganglion.

AvicGFPGr66a.3x.IRES.2x is expressed in gustatory receptor neurons of the dorsal and ventral the larval pharyngeal sense organ projecting to the embryonic/larval subesophageal ganglion.

AvicGFPGr66a.3x.IRES.2x labels the bitter-sensing neurons (L2 GRN) of the taste bristles of the proboscis. Neurons labeled with AvicGFPGr66a.3x.IRES.2x do not overlap with expression of ScerGAL4ppk28.PC, which labels the water-sensing neurons.

The dendrites of the AvicGFPGr66a.3x.IRES.2x bitter-sensitive neurons of gustatory sensilla and the ScerGAL4E49 labelled motor neurons are not in close proximity.

AvicGFPGr66a.3x.IRES.2x is expressed in the bitter-sensitive gustatory receptor neurons of the labellar taste bristles of the proboscis. Expression of AvicGFPGr66a.3x.IRES.2x in the proboscis is distinct from the expression of ScerGAL4E409. The projection of the neurons labeled by AvicGFPGr66a.3x.IRES.2x in the subesophageal ganglion does not overlap with the projections labeled by ScerGAL4E409.
