UASt regulatory sequences replace the Hsp70 promoter sequences.
leg, with Scer\GAL429BD
Ectopic expression of dallyScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC induces the phenotypes in the wing, notum and legs shown below, depending on the Scer\GAL4 driver. The percentages of adult flies showing each phenotype is given. Expression with the ubiquitous Scer\GAL429BD driver causes: disordered wing veins - 66%, duplication of the dorsocentral and scutellar macrochaetae on the notum - 51%, malformed legs - 45%. Expression in the wing and haltere discs with Scer\GAL4A9 causes: disordered wing veins - 99%, duplication of the dorsocentral and scutellar macrochaetae on the notum - 70%. Expression in the wing pouch with Scer\GAL471B causes: disordered wing veins - 97%, loss of the posterior crossvein - 83%. Expression along the anterior-posterior compartment boundary with Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 causes: duplication of the dorsocentral and scutellar macrochaetae on the notum - 40%. Expression along the anterior-posterior compartment boundary with Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 causes: folded wings - 21%, duplication of the dorsocentral and scutellar macrochaetae on the notum - 44%. Expression in the posterior compartment with Scer\GAL4hh-Gal4 causes: loss of the posterior crossvein - 100%, notching of the wing margin - 80%, duplication of the dorsocentral and scutellar macrochaetae on the notum - 15%, malformed legs - 10%. Expression in the posterior compartment with Scer\GAL4en-e16E causes: loss of the posterior crossvein - 32%, duplication of the dorsocentral and scutellar macrochaetae on the notum - 8%.
