Statement Reference Expression of cv-c[Scer\UAS.cDa] in motoneurons under the control of Scer\GAL4[OK6] fails to rescue the abnormal quantal content (QC) phenotype of cv-c[1]/+ larvae.
Expression of cv-c[Scer\UAS.cDa] in muscle under the control of Scer\GAL4[G14] rescues the abnormal quantal content (QC) phenotype of cv-c[1]/+ larvae. Expression of cv-cScer\UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4ems.HRE results in a failure of invagination of the most distal cells of the posterior spiracular chamber. Malpighian tubules that express cv-cScer\UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4ct.CtB are significantly shorter in length and fatter around their circumference than wild-type tubules. The length of the tip cell is increased; the tip cell stalk is ~7μ in wild-type tubules, but can be up to 50μ in Scer\GAL4ct.CtB>cv-cScer\UAS.cDa tubules. | |||
