Homozygous clones in the wing disc are rounder than their wild-type twin spots.
cpa107E mutant clones induced at the first or second larval instar could not be recovered in the wing blade primordium, although mutant clones could develop in the remainder of the wing disc. Adults expressing cpaScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL in a cpa43D/cpa107E background sometimes show wing, eye or bristle defects.

Comments
Expression of cpaScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 in the wing disc, under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL, prevents the extrusion of cpa107E clones from the wing blade primordium. Ubiquitous expression of cpaScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL rescues the lethality of cpa43D/cpa107E mutants, although some of the rescued adults exhibit wing, eye or bristle defects.
