Statement Reference Expression of S6kIIScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC in the eye, driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, induces a rough eye phenotype with a dramatically reduced number of rhabdomeres. At the pupal level, eyes show a reduction in differentiation of cells into both neuronal and non-neuronal retinal cells.
Expression of S6kIIScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of either Scer\GAL4en-e16E or Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 induces compartment-specific vein loss in the wing. | |||

The roughened eye and increased rhabdomere phenotypes seen when either phlScer\UAS.F179 or Ras85DV12.Scer\UAS is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev are suppressed when S6kIIScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC is coexpressed.
