No wing notching is seen in Traf6ex1/+ mutant flies. Traf6ex1 homozygous adult wings show mild irregularities and forked tips at the distal end of veins.
Compared with wild-type, homozygous Traf6ex1 mutant flies show elevated viral RNA levels after infection with Rift Valley Fever Virus (RVFV).
Traf6ex1 mutant flies are fully resistant to infection by gram-negative bacteria, and survival rates are comparable to wild-type.
Traf2ex1 adults show no morphological defects.
