Expression of Mad1.Scer\UAS in the wing under the control of Scer\GAL469B leads to vein truncations and incomplete wing outgrowth, including truncations to L2/L3/L4/L5 wing veins, abnormal crossveins, and a moderate margin notch.

Approximately 52% of the expected Mad1.Scer\UAS/Scer\GAL4T80, 55% of the Mad1.Scer\UAS/Scer\GAL4Dll-md23 flies and 69% of the Mad1.Scer\UAS/Scer\GAL4how-24B flies survive, indicating significant reductions in viability.
