Expression of Nf1Scer\UAS.cWa under the control of either Scer\GAL4Act5C.PU, Scer\GAL4elav.PU, Scer\GAL4Ras64B.PW or Scer\GAL4C23 rescues the reduced pupal length phenotype seen in Nf1E2 animals, while expression under the control of either Scer\GAL4Ret.PW, Scer\GAL4Feb36, Scer\GAL4Aug21 or Scer\GAL4Akh.PW does not rescue.

Expression of Nf1Scer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4Alk.38 rescues the small pupae phenotype seen in Nf1E2/Nf1E1 mutants.

Expression of Nf1Scer\UAS.cWa under the control of the mushroom body drivers Scer\GAL4c747, Scer\GAL4Mef2.247 or Scer\GAL4ey-OK107, and restricted to the adult stages using Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B, fails to rescue the olfactory learning defects seen in Nf1E2/Nf1E1 mutants.

The Nf1E1/Nf1E2 pupal and adult wing size defects are not rescued by expression of Nf1Scer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E.

Expression of Nf1Scer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 strongly rescues the reduced pupal size and wing size defects of Nf1E1/Nf1E2 animals.
