swmF15/Df(2L)Exel8041 adult escapers have an increased distance between veins 3 and 4 in the wing and misoriented wing hairs.

swmF15/swm37Dh-1 adult escapers have an increased distance between veins 3 and 4 in the wing compared to controls and 76% of the wings have patches of wing hairs that show abnormal orientation.

76% of the wings of swmF15/swmF14 adult escapers have patches of wing hairs that show abnormal orientation.

Homozygous clones induced in the wing disc are small (up to 8 cells) and few in number.

Females carrying homozygous germline clones generate fertile eggs and heterozygous adults derived from these eggs are phenotypically normal, while swm37Dh-1/swmF15 progeny of swmF15 female germline clones are larval lethal.
